Passion

"Now the Lord is the Spirit, where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom. And we all, who with unveiled faces contemplate the Lord’s glory, being transformed into his image with ever-increasing glory, which comes from the Lord, who is the Spirit.” -2 Corinthians 3:17-18. We are a transformed people and we need to recognize this as a generation. When we live in this transformation, we are living in the spirit. When living in the spirit what limit is there to what God can achieve through our lives. For we shine out God’s ever increasing Glory in our lives with “Unveiled face”. Who is left for us to fear? No one, as we live in the freedom of the spirit; this freedom includes freedom from all fear.

Our generation is burning inside wanting to propel the church into a new unfathomed depth of the knowledge, love, and presence of God. We are a generation that seeks a church that is not intimidated by the world, that isn’t afraid to step out into the darkness and burn. We are a generation that knows that we are at war with the powers of darkness and death. We are a generation who will stand with the word of God in our hearts and in our hands, and will press on propelled by an unbridled passion for the very heart of God. In this blog we seek to acknowledge this passion, and to encourage the heart of those who aren’t afraid to burn, in the darkness in our Lords name.
